Yes, there are good skis for hiking in the fells! For a 167 cm / 66 kg walker with a sledgehammer, it feels like the grip ends on a steep uphill slope with a 190 cm ski from time to time (of course, it can also be a technique of its own); yet 185cm skis might also have been a good option for themselves.
